Frequently asked questions
Is my signature photo uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser with the Canvas API. Your images are never sent to a server, stored, or shared.
Does this work with colored ink or pencil?
It works best with dark ink on a light or white background. Colored ink usually extracts fine, but low-contrast pencil marks may not come out cleanly because they are too close in brightness to the paper.
Can I process multiple signatures at once?
Yes. Select as many photos as you like and they will all be processed in one batch, with a ZIP download when you have more than one result.
What if the background is not fully removed?
The tool works best with even, good lighting. Shadows or uneven light on the paper can confuse the threshold, so retake the photo in brighter, more uniform light for a cleaner result.
